Cable car to Pic du Midi de Bigorre, 2877 meters above the ocean. Astronomical observatory and museum. To get there we had to drive over Col de Tourmalet, legendary Tour de France leg.

- Forgive me for a bit of excitement. Today the book I wrote was made available online. I was expecting it to show up on places like amazon.com but what I didn't expect was to find it listed with a Norwegian online store. I guess they honed in on my Haughland name. So cool. - i have not been to norway. actually i have not traveled very far in my own country. the cousin i have a bit of communication with lives in Horten. my family, my greatgrandfather's generation and before are from Innbjoa. I hear that that is not far from Bergen.
i know very little but feel connected to it.

- okay i kinda think i know what you said, but takk is the only thing i'm sure of.
i have recently discovered distant cousin in norway. have a lot of nor blood in family, (norweigian immigrants a few generations back)so i have always been a little fascinated with it.
